50 playsDoes This Always Happen?, by Mogwai. My current favorite track from the Earth Division EP, released Tuesday on Sub Pop.
The four-song EP is such a turn from their latest LP (which might be my favorite record of the year), Hardcore Will Never Die, but You Will. It’s much more calm and a bit darker, but retains its Mogwai-ness. Phenomenal release, and I’m only on my third listen.
Pick it up on 12” vinyl from Sub Pop, you won’t regret it.
