#1S1D - A.R. Rahman - Himalaya (Nokia Connections - 2008)
Himalaya is an exceptional composition by the wizard. Quiet piano-santoor piece that includes bits of flute, orchestra and electro. Ideal for a wake-up instrumental. I hope it gets a picturisation one day.
I was waiting for the album to get a proper CD release before talking about Himalaya, but the song is all over the place now. And since Connections got released as a compilation of Rahman songs by Universal Music, i guess songs like Himalaya, Kural, Mylapore Blues, Mann Chandre and Mosquito will have to wait a long time before high quality versions can be appreciated by the millions of fans.
