kierstenmh:

After having a few years with the music of Bon Iver, literally sitting down and experiencing it for what it is, I have decided that this is my favorite song Justin has written.

I may get reemed for this by indirectly saying Skinny Love is not as good as this song but I’ve come to realize how incredible everything about The Wolves (Act I & II) is.

The lyrics are simple but absolutely devastating.  The progression to the final end outburst of emotion is perfect.  It is one of the most raw, passionate songs I’ve heard.  I am forever indebted to this music.  Honestly.  How does real shit this powerful even come about?

“Someday my pain will mark you”

I really enjoyed ‘For Emma, Forever Ago’ exactly for its simplicity and the voice combinations. You just float…
