i had great fun last week assembling just the right songs that would follow the Aik Alif Coke Studio rendition by Saaein Zahoor and Noori. i fell in love with this particular song which featured as the end credits of 2010 movie West is West. turns out it remained infused by the sufi vibe with songs from Pakistani and Indian pop, the TV show The Dewarists and some oft-forgotten Bollywood songs. here’s the end result:
